How Much Food?
Nov 05th, 2015, 10:17am

I'm planning my son's 1st birthday & I have never hosted a party on this scale before. I'm expecting 21 adults and 11 kids. We are serving Hamburgers/ Hot dogs and sides like; potato salad, baked beans, chips and dip.

My question is, how do I know how many hamburgers/ hot dogs to prepare?

How do I know how many pounds of the sides I should buy?

Please help! Smiley

I think you must make a list of all the children and adults coming. As you have mentioned 21 adults and 11 kids. Then the total will be 32 people. I think you prepare 50 of each and that will be sufficient for everyone.

I everyone loves a party with plenty of foods and drinks. I personally like to buy more food than I really need, and everybody end up over eating lol. We always find a reason to party here in Orlando.

okay I m giving you a random estimate , you can buy 50 hamburgers because few people will eat one burger and few people can eat two too , and i guess 5 pound cake will be suitable for everyone , and yo have to calculate the rest of the things

I think there are people who provide birthday catering services for food. They are very delicious...nutritious...
