Hi

I am also trying to arrange a Fairy party.  Now we all know that there is the all popular Tinkerbell Fairy and her friends but there is also the Clasic Fairy amoungst flowers and garden backdrops.

I am looking for some different ideas that can be interchangeable between the two.

We have discussed different crafts of making your own 'Fairy Wand' invitations, Making Fairy wings as the party craft activity.  Having little packages of Fairy Dust (glitter in organza bags) on the table as one of your favours.  The decoration is also dependent on the Fairy Theme you have chosen ie Tinkerbell or the Classic.  I have also managed to source some Classic Fairy colour mats that come with colour pencils which are very pretty.

Food wise I have looked at Fairy Bread, Fairy Wands (mellon cut into star shapes and put onto the top of a skewer stick and followed with grapes) - I wish I could upload some pics for you to see they are lovely, and ofcause the all popular butterfly cupcakes.  The cupcakes are placed on a tray with little toadstools (made out of fondant) placed in between.

I have a couple of games too - painting little rocks / pebble stones with  icons like stars, hearts, toadstools, wands, etc for a treasure hunt game.  Also you can always find a relevant shaped / themed pinata to add to the fun and games.

If anyone has any extra ideas it would be most appreciated.

Many Thanks

Louise
