Pool party 5 year olds (Read 2716 times)

liz939 Party411 Newbies Offline Posts: 1	Pool party 5 year olds May 25^th, 2008, 3:44pm Hi All, I am going to have a pool party for my 5 year old (blow-up pools in the back yard...a big water slide...I would love some ideas for games, and projects to keep them busy and happy (besides the water).. any ideas Liz

Hide in go seek tag ice cream and juice boxes! lol

Divide the kids into 2 groups for these games and have them race by:
Holding balloons between their knees
Jumping rope singing happy birthday
Balancing an object on head
Holding a balloon between two of the team members heads
Balancing a small ball on their feet
Skipping backwards
Bouncing a ball
Once they master the forward races, have them do them backwards.

You can have a Rubber ducky race in which each child pushes a floating rubber duck from one side of the pool to the other using only their nose. The first one to reach the other side is the winner. Keep some nice food like cake or ice cream or fruits salad or grilled hotdogs.
