High School Graduation HELP!
Mar 26th, 2008, 2:29am
Hi Everyone.
My daughter is graduating at the end of May. She is our first to graduate and I am at a loss on planning this event what with the announcements, party planning and etc. The announcements state the time of graduation, but only few family/friends can go. I intend to have a party at our home after graduation for people to come celebrate with her after the graduation ceremony.
Is it important to put the invitation in the graduation announcement so that people can know about the party? or send it seperately?
I have no idea what type of theme, and I'm stumped. I hope that I've not waited too long to send everything out in the mail. Graduation is May 25th.
Is it traditional to have activities at graduation or what?
Please teach a first time mom of the graduate the ropes! Smiley
Any ideas for a wonderful party for our daughter would be much appreciated!!!!

hey i'm graduating from high school on may 25th too. i think you should send the party invitations with the graduation announcement that's what i'm doing as for a theme. for mine we are having a backyard BBQ so i'm having a luau theme. i'm not really planning activities for mine just swimming and having a good time. this party for me is going to be huge because i'll be graduating my mom will be graduating cosmetology school and i'll be turning 18. oh and another idea if it's an indoor or indoor/outdoor party you should make a power point of their senior pictures and play it on the tv.  i hope this helped.
