Bridal Shower of a conservative,shy virgin.Help!
Jan 24th, 2007, 6:15pm

Being the wild thing of the family I was assigned the tedious chore of "The Entertainer" in my cousin's fiance Bachelorette party. Shocked I don't socialize all that much with her and all I know is that she is 23 and a goodie-goodie.All my ideas are too risquee for this conservative bunch of old Catholic aunts.I need some good wholesome ideas for an entertaining Bachelorette party at my aunt's home.(believe it or not we have a stripper, but that is as wild as it gets and he'll probably have to keep his underware). Please,I'm deperate.Someone give me some good advice!!Tha party is in 2 weeks. Thanks! Nina

To keep it safe i would do some games that you might play at the bridal shower. One game that i made for my sisters shower was Famous Couples Trivia. It was a big hit and i made sure their were questions that everyone could answer. Each question had A,B,C answers such as Which hollywood couple has been married the longest? A)Tom Hanks/Rita Wilson B)Kurt Russell/Goldie Hawn C)John Travolta/Kelly Preston. I just googled all my questions to get the answer.I also had fictional one like Luke and Lauras wedding on General Hospital. Hope this helps.

Which one are you doing a bridal shower or a bacholorette party? They are both different parties. The bridal shower is usually with hand appitizers, lots of food and drinks like punches and soft drinks... those have cute games like who knows the groom the best (set of questions), use toliet paper and team the girls up into different groups and then they have to make a wedding dress out toliet paper on 1 girl on the team... the bride chooses the winner...

Now the bacholrette (sp?) party is more wild with alcohol, stippers, naughty girl rep to sell sex toys and such.

Hopefully... I've helped you with all my rambling on! Ha!

Thanks to both of you for your imput!I guess it is more a mix of bachelorette/bridal shower.I'm torn in between because 2 of my aunts want different things.I spent 12 hrs. straight on my day off educating myself about the topics in the internet and I came up with wonderful ideas.
I came up with PG games, but still we have to "pin the hose to the fireman" too.Bought everything pink but still have some mischivious little "gags" for the attendees.
If all goes as planned it's going to be a nice fun PG party. Kiss

I was just at a shower this weekend for my cousin'a fiance as well.  They also had to keep it clean, not because of the bride but because of the older women there.  One of the games they did was they tested the bride to see how much she really knew about her groom to be.  For every question she got wrong she had to chew a piece of bubble gum (something like bubblicious or hubba-bubba).  Surprisingly she did really well but did end up with 4 pieces of gum in her mouth.  If it got too much they did say she could spit it out (otherwise there might be a gagging risk).

The questions were: who was his first serious girlfriend, how many high schools did he attend (the family moved around), who's his favorite athlete, and things like that.

Hope that helps.
