Small graduation party
Apr 23rd, 2006, 2:11am

All of our family is out of town and we're having a big graduation party there, however my daughter wants a party where we live now, and she's only planning on inviting adults that she's babysat for and their children, neighbors, and 1 teacher and her husband. Probably around 18 adults and 14 children ( not teens ). How do I keep a small group like this entertained? HELP!!!

Tell the grad congrats! Your party seems medium sized, so it should not be hard to entertain them. I would have like a raffle game or something. Make one of those morter-board caps out of cardboard (or get a real one) and put some tickets in it.
Also, you could show tapes of your daughter, if she's not easily embarassed. I know for a friend's graduation party @ school, the entire class had to bring a baby picture and they were made into a collage hung up on the wall. If you have any home videos of your daughter as a baby or toddler, show them!
That's all I can think of. Good luck.

Build a theme around your child's interests.
For example, favorite sport, movie or tv show.
Then search for ideas in this forum and on the internet.
With a theme, it is easy to come up with entertainment ideas.
For my daughters graduation party, about the same size as yours, we had a Japanese luncheon. It was great fun!
