My 13th birthday
Jan 21st, 2005, 7:15pm

Hey peeps!

I'm turning 13 on February 25th and I want a really special party! Here's what I don't want;

Sleepover,
Kidnap party,
Disco,
Scavenger hunt,
Spa Party.

I'm having five girls so that'll make six of us.  I don't want anything in my house.  I was thinking od going ice skating then going to pizza hut or something.  I like that idea but I want ideas on how to make it special!  I have a budget of 60 (around $110) and it's going to be pretty cold!

???

If the skating is outdoors, do the traditional skating party with bonfire and use it to cook burgers or even steaks.  Singing goofy songs at the fire is a lot more fun than it sounds too.  You can have races and one-legged skating contests and any other skill your group is up to.  Give something like bags of candy bars, that facilitate sharing, for prizes so that competition does not get too vicious.

If you are skating at a rink, check to see if they have a birthday package.  That may include food, games, skating lessons and favors. You could rent a Disney (or other character) costume and have someone wear it to skate in with the cake.  There may be a sort of famous skater in your area who would put on a short show too.

Most Pizza Huts have birthday packages, so you could wait and do your main party there.  Call and see what they can offer you.
